This post is not meant to be an open discussion. Damon said that many tt.net members in the army based overseas check here from time to time, so I thought this might make them feel like theyre not completely wasting their times I guess. *Personally*, i'm still not 100% for everything that's going on, but i'm also not an Iraqi, and all the people in these pics are Iraqi's, and all seem to be pretty happy that the US has seized Baghdad. If the actual Iraqi's are happy, then it does change my view on things *slightly. Don't get me wrong though, the city i'm from, Dearborn, MI has a very large Arab poppulation, and these people do not represent the majority. While almost everyone here is happy Saddam's days are numbered, most of the people aren't going to go out and celebrate in the streets like these people did when people are still dyeing everyday. Anyways, these pics were all pretty surprising, I did not expect it at all when I first saw the people out. I went to school, went to pick up my Z from the shop, and came home and saw all this going on. Theyre were more people celebrating elsewhere BTW. But if your'e in the forces and your'e reading this post, I wish you a safe time over theyr'e, and feel good that you've put a smile on a lot of these local Iraqi's faces who are only in the US because of the fact that they had family and friends die because of Saddam.
